About the calendar
This page uses the standard calculated Hebrew calendar as a practical planning reference. We recognise that believers who follow observational new-moon sightings, Aviv barley reckoning, or other biblical-calendar methods may arrive at different dates. We do not make a particular calendar calculation a test of fellowship. Our aim is to honour YHVH's appointed times, search the Scriptures together, and walk humbly with one another.
The appointed times.
A weekly day of rest and holy convocation.
The memorial of YHVH's deliverance and the redemption fulfilled in Messiah.
Seven days, with sacred assemblies on the first and seventh days.
Scripture places Firstfruits on the day after the Sabbath. The calendar marks the Sunday falling within Unleavened Bread.
Counted from Firstfruits, culminating in the Feast of Weeks.
A day of trumpet blasts, remembrance and sacred assembly.
The Day of Atonement, a solemn day of humility and rest.
Seven days of rejoicing before YHVH, beginning with a sacred assembly.
The eighth-day sacred assembly following Sukkot.
The calendar marks the opening of each Hebrew month as Rosh Chodesh / new month, helping us look ahead to the rhythms we hope increasingly to share together as a fellowship.
